We are mourning the death of one of our long-time elders of 48 years, Liston Bryant, after a week of extensive medical difficulties. Visitation is Friday, September 9th, from 7-9 PM at Mountain Valley Funeral Home in Joshua, TX. The memorial service will be Saturday, September 10th, at 11AM at Burleson Church of Christ, 820 SW Wilshire Blvd, Burleson, TX. Liston was born on July 9, 1926 and passed away late Tuesday evening September 6, 2011.

Since Wednesday, crew have been working on lifting the tilt walls into place. Work began Wednesday with the office wing, continued, toward the highway to the auditorium, finished the auditorium and foyer, and ended Friday afternoon on the other side of the building with the community room and youth wing.
