Burleson, Texas is located about 10 miles south of Fort Worth on Interstate Highway 35W. The Burleson Church of Christ began in 1933 in a small building with 15 members. Today the congregation has over 1,000 members meeting in its current location at 820 S.W. Wilshire (Hwy 174), Burleson, TX, 817-295-2233.

The congregation is led by eleven elders: Scott Barkley, Liston Bryant, Troy Burnett, T.F. Cheshier, Terry Ford, Eddie Jones, Odell Porter, Ken Qualls, Gary Smith, Jerry Thomas, and Buster Williams. Three full-time staff ministers serve the congregation: Pulpit - Karl Jones, Children's Education/Church Office - Don Kuhn, Youth - Mark Simmons. Dan Whitaker serves part time working with Extended Family and Special Projects. There are fifty-five deacons who lead in many of the organized ministries.
