Karl has served the Burleson Church of Christ since 1983 as Pulpit Minister.  Prior to coming to Burleson, Karl and his family served the church in Davis, Oklahoma for six years.  Karl and his wife, Janie have four children.

The goal of our ministry is to serve God and faithfully proclaim the Scriptures, to lift up Jesus and His cross so that souls would be drawn to Him, and to help build up His Church and nurture and encourage the people of God.

Don is a graduate of Abilene Christian University with a degree in Bible and a Masters Degree in Oral Communication.  He and his wife, Marilyn, have been married forty-two years and have two grown children who are married and they have two grandchildren.  He has served this congregation since 1976.

 

Youth Minister
Mark Simmons

Mark Simmons began serving as Youth Minister in 2006. Mark and his wife Lindsay are graduates of Harding University. They have experience in youth ministry as well as having served as missionaries to China.

EXTENDED FAMILY MINISTER

Lois (Butch) and Dan Whitaker

Dan serves as coordinator of the Extended Family small group ministry and also does special projects. One is the 75th Anniversary of this congregation which will be celebrated this Fall. Dan and Butch have many years of experience in ministry.
